Back from SF to clear Colorado skies. Flew into Denver, got waylaid by nine-car collision in Larkspur, detoured into foothills and emerged, unscathed on the other side of Palmer Lake.
Too much to say about Jenks and all the others. Great people, terrific work. The whole enchilada. Was very much impressed by the entire experience, and know already it will stick around forever.
Phone went on the blink--again, so a few messages were late in arriving. Found out early this morning The Outskirts of Nowhere story collection was a semi-finalist in the St. Lawrence Book Award contest.
Nice news. Now need to parlay the studies and hard work into something bigger. Stronger. Learned things that could help get me there.
